these were taken (by me) with matt's uncle randy's nikon d70. my first time really fiddling with a dslr.. and i'm scared cuz i loooved it. :x as you can tell, i couldn't figure out how to open up the apeture or adjust white balance though. i was busy figuring out how to turn off the flash. :D

this is matt's uncle and aunt's house in happyville.. where we've spent xmas the last few years. everytime we drive inside the gates and past this beautiful little lake, i've wanted to take pictures, but we always get there after sunset. finally caught it (barely) this year!

kittyville hat:

cast on 84 stitches and work in seed stitch for the brim of the hat.

work in stockinette and decrease to shape. pick up stitches along the edge and add earflaps.

add kitty ears in seed and then give to crazy cat lady sister!
